This Privacy Policy describes how Prompt Mint ("we", "us", or "the App") handles your information. Prompt Mint is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic PBC.

1. What we collect

Prompt Mint is designed to collect as little information as possible. Specifically:

Sign in with Apple identifier. If you choose to sign in, Apple provides us with a stable, opaque user identifier and (optionally) your name and email. We store the identifier in the iOS Keychain on your device. We never transmit it to any server we control.

Favorites and recently-used skills. When you favorite a skill or open one, we write a small record to your device's local SwiftData store. If iCloud sync is enabled and you are signed in to iCloud on your device, these records also sync to your private CloudKit database — which only you can read.

App preferences. Your theme choice, onboarding completion, and a small set of feature flags are stored in the local UserDefaults database for this app.

2. What we do not collect

We do not collect analytics.
We do not run an A/B testing framework.
We do not collect crash reports beyond what Apple already provides through the App Store.
We do not include any third-party SDK that tracks you across apps or websites.
We do not use advertising identifiers.
We do not sell your data — there is no data to sell.

3. Third parties

Apple processes Sign in with Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.
Apple processes your iCloud sync data inside your private database — Anthropic, we, and any other third party cannot read it.
If you tap Open in Claude on a skill, Prompt Mint constructs a deep link that hands your selected prompt off to the official Claude app. From that point forward, Anthropic's privacy policy governs how your prompt is handled.
Purchases. Prompt Mint is free to download. Optional in-app purchases (Lifetime Access and Weekly Premium) are processed entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. We never receive or store your payment card, billing address, or Apple Account credentials — only an anonymous signal from StoreKit that an entitlement is active.
We do not include any other third-party SDKs.

4. iCloud / CloudKit

iCloud sync is optional. It activates only when:

1. You are signed in to your iCloud account on the device, and

2. iCloud Drive is enabled for Prompt Mint in iOS Settings.

When active, sync uses Apple's private CloudKit database. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. It is invisible to us. To disable sync, sign out of iCloud or turn off "Prompt Mint" in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.

5. User-generated content

You are responsible for any prompts, text, or content you copy, import, or generate using Prompt Mint:

You retain ownership of content you create.
You must comply with applicable law and the terms of any AI service you use the content with.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or consequences of content you produce.

6. Your control

Remove favorites at any time from the Favorites tab.
Sign out from Settings → Account. Signing out clears the Keychain entry on this device. iCloud data remains on Apple's servers under your iCloud account until you delete it from Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
Deleting the Prompt Mint app from your device removes all locally-stored data on that device immediately.

7. Children's privacy

Prompt Mint is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. International users

Because Prompt Mint stores all user data on your device or in your own Apple iCloud account, no information is transferred across borders by us. Apple's own data-residency rules govern iCloud storage.

9. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy we will update the effective date above and notify you in-app on next launch.
